Empowering Women: The Black Mamba Anti-Poaching Unit and the Female Ranger Alliance

The Black Mamba Anti-Poaching Unit has led the way as the first all-female ranger force. Recognizing the barriers women face in joining the ranger force, they are committed to overcoming these challenges.
To promote gender equality within the ranger force, the Black Mambas initiated the Female Ranger Alliance—a global network for female rangers and organizations. This alliance facilitates knowledge-sharing, idea exchange, and support to promote gender balance in conservation.
Proudly establishing the Female Ranger Alliance, we are dedicated to empowering women from diverse backgrounds. Together, we strive to protect biodiversity and build a brighter future for all.
